The spirit of love is the tree itself embraced one with the other, the limbs move over and form branches yet the tree remains and the Embrace between the two figures is timeless. This was inspired by a tree on the lochside in Scotland. It is set against the Sunset which reflects on the water and blossom of the tree, filling the painting with energy and passion. It is an unusual painting in warm vibrant colours that draws your attention.
